Grease Types
Our Grease Guns and Pumps are designed to handle most of the popular multipurpose greases to NLGI - No.2 specification made with light to medium base oil viscosities. However, with greases for special applications, which may have high viscosity base oils and/or special additives, problems may be encountered. If so, the question of pumpability should be referred to the appropriate grease manufacturer.
High Volume - ‘Low Pressure’
All greasers are supplied with lid and rubber-edged follower plates as standard, to reduce the grease vortexing and causing cavitation in the containers.
Specification:
High volume output for filling auto chassis lubrication system reservoirs. Supplied with 1.5m of 3/8" (9mm) hose and 1/4" BSP male end fitting for your quick release connector and lid. Follower plate supplied as an optional extra if required.*Note: The female coupler fits most male fittings on chassis systems. (ISO 'B' Type).
